02 · ASK A USEFUL QUESTION

Start with a prompt.
Follow the evidence.

Copy these in order into your connected assistant.
Each builds on the answer before it.

01

Find the search question worth researching

Use only this Datapipe project’s authorized data. Discover the connected accounts, datasets and compatible fields first. Confirm dates, timezones, currencies and data coverage. Keep missing or unmatched rows visible; never substitute sample data. Compare the sources explicitly and explain every match. Do not change source records or send messages.

Read Search Console query/page evidence for this site and current WordPress pages/posts. Shortlist topics where the existing page may not fit the observed query intent. Keep query and page measures separate and retain unmatched URLs. Choose a keyword for the research and ask for its market/language if I have not specified them.

Read the checklist in WordPress and compare the current Google results through DataForSEO. Read the actual current records behind the shortlist. Show which source supports each observation, distinguish causes from hypotheses, and propose one specific next step.

Read the SERP for a chosen keyword and market.

  3. 03

Choose refresh, investigate or a new brief.

Implementation tips for this use case

Match the returned result URLs, titles and snapshot context to observed queries and current WordPress content. Inspect the actual result pages before classifying intent. Keep failed, empty and incomplete reads explicit; do not substitute examples or promise rankings.

The method and reporting checks
behind this example.

How to combine direct SERP research with existing content
  1. Connect DataForSEO, Search Console and WordPress.

Add the Search Console property and WordPress site, then enter your DataForSEO API login and API password in Data sources. Save and check validates the account. No spreadsheet or research query is needed to connect.

  2. Read the SERP for a chosen keyword and market.

Start with observed Search Console query/page evidence. In DataForSEO, choose Live Google organic SERP research with keyword, numeric location code, language and optional device, or read an existing completed task by its ID. Fresh queries use your DataForSEO credits; provider fees apply separately from Datapipe.

DataForSEO is connected directly with its own account credentials. Market, language, device and provider snapshot time accompany SERP rows. A new-page brief is checked against existing content; failures never become sample rows.

For blended reports, align dates, normalized URLs, and reporting grain. Query-level search rows must not duplicate page-level sessions. This is an illustrative workflow; live accounts and destinations need their own setup.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you start.

Do I need Google Sheets for this workflow?

No. Connect Search Console, DataForSEO and WordPress directly to the same Datapipe project. Your assistant can read the source reports and compare the returned evidence.

Does connecting DataForSEO start a paid search?

No. Save and check validates the account. A fresh SERP query uses your DataForSEO account credits when requested; you can also read accessible completed task results by ID. Datapipe’s Free data source allowance does not cover provider usage fees.

What happens if a live DataForSEO request fails?

The read returns an error. Empty real results stay empty, and unfinished or partial tasks are flagged. Datapipe never substitutes sample rows for a failed live read.
