Privacy policy
Datapipe is the product. The company offering it is PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name, PLACEHOLDER: postal address. Write to legal@trydatapipe.com, privacy@trydatapipe.com, or support@trydatapipe.com.
This policy explains what Datapipe does with personal data. It includes the Google API Services User Data Policy disclosure Google requires for OAuth verification, and the same kind of limit for Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Microsoft.
What we collect
Account data: name, email, password hash, workspace, plan, and billing status. Connection data: OAuth tokens and API keys you provide, and the rows those sources return (visits, ads, orders, contacts, and similar marketing numbers). Support messages you send us.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Datapipe's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Limited Use: we use Google user data only to show and refresh the reports you asked for, to keep that history under your plan, and to export it to a destination you choose (Sheets, Looker Studio, or your own BigQuery). We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not allow humans to read it unless you ask for support, we need to fix a security problem, or the law requires it. We do not use it to train generalized AI models.
Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Microsoft
Data from Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Microsoft Advertising is used only to provide the dashboards and exports you set up. We do not sell that data, do not use it to build profiles for other advertisers, and do not share it with another customer. Access lasts only while the connection is on. Disconnecting a source stops new pulls. History already stored follows the retention on your plan.
Deleting your data
You can delete Meta data, and the rest of your account, yourself. Sign in, open Settings, then Connections, and disconnect Facebook. Or open Settings and delete your account. You can also email privacy@trydatapipe.com. The steps are on the data deletion page. If you remove Datapipe on Facebook, Meta calls our deletion callback and we delete that Facebook user's Meta tokens and Meta data.
How long we keep it
Free: 90 days. Paid plans: while you subscribe. Data Vault: 12 months after you cancel or downgrade, then we delete it after an email warning. You can download a full export from Settings.
GDPR
If you are in the EEA or UK, the legal bases are contract (running the workspace you signed up for), legitimate interests (securing the service and keeping a record of billing), and consent where a platform's OAuth screen asks you to grant access. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your data by emailing privacy@trydatapipe.com. You can complain to your local authority. We do not yet name an EU representative; that is a placeholder until the company is formed.
CCPA
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents can email privacy@trydatapipe.com to ask what we hold or to delete it. We will not discriminate against you for asking.
Who we use
The subprocessors page lists the companies that process data for us. Connected platforms (Google, Meta, Shopify, and the rest) receive requests only because you connected them.
