Cookie policy

Datapipe is the product. The company offering it is PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name, PLACEHOLDER: postal address. Write to legal@trydatapipe.com, privacy@trydatapipe.com, or support@trydatapipe.com.

Datapipe uses one essential cookie, dp_session. It keeps you signed in. It is HTTP-only. It is not an advertising cookie.

We also use Attriboo analytics. Their script at www.attriboo.com sets a first-party cookie named _atb_vid for about a year, and stores the same visitor id in local storage under _atb_vid. It can set a short test cookie named _atb_root while it finds the site domain, a _atb_ignore cookie if you opt that browser out, and a session storage note named _atb_cart when a checkout is detected. The script sends the page path, referrer, and campaign parameters to Attriboo. It is not an advertising cookie. We do not use advertising cookies.

The sign-in cookie is required to run the account you asked for, so we do not ask before setting it. The Attriboo cookie is set when the page loads. A short notice on the site names it and links here. Dismissing that notice stores datapipe-cookie-ok in local storage on your device. It does not turn Attriboo off.
