Centralized Data Sources

Admins connect Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Shopify, and CRM tools once centrally. Teammates build and schedule reports without ever handling raw API keys, secrets, or passwords.

Strict Partitioning

True Project Isolation

Projects act as private security boundaries. Members only see data sources and reports in projects where they have been explicitly granted membership. Data never crosses project walls.

Questions before you start

Questions about team access and security

How roles, centralized connections, company rules, and activity logs work.

What are the different roles in Datapipe?

Datapipe offers five clear tiers: Viewer (read-only), Report Editor (build and schedule reports), Operator (propose approved source updates), Project Manager (connect and manage data sources for assigned projects), and Workspace Admin (manage members and create projects workspace-wide).

Do team members have to connect data sources themselves?

No. The workspace owner, admins, or designated project managers connect data sources centrally. Normal team members (Viewers, Editors, and Operators) simply use the connected sources to build reports without touching credentials.

Can the owner restrict what data sources members can connect?

Yes. Company rules allow the owner to set an allowlist of permitted data source types, or restrict adding new data sources exclusively to admins, preventing rogue integrations from entering the workspace.

Is there an activity log to see what teammates did?

Yes. Workspace owners have access to an activity log showing sign-ins, report creations, views, exports, public links created, and source change proposals. The log can be filtered by teammate and exported to CSV.
