What you can do with WordPress

Read and report

Read current posts and pages, including draft publication state, native IDs, titles, excerpts and content. Report dates do not filter inventory.

Write with owner approval

Eligible teammates can propose the supported changes listed below. The owner reviews the exact values and approves every proposed change before it is applied to WordPress.

Read & report

Prepare a client content review

Refresh content IDs, publication states and timestamps in your reporting destination. These are current content records rather than pageview or conversion analytics.

Owner-approved write

Review a draft correction before handoff

A teammate proposes a clearer draft title or plain-text excerpt. The owner reviews the exact replacement before it reaches WordPress. Outside edits or publishing can race the final check because WordPress has no atomic draft/version lock.

Supported WordPress write actions

Writes start disabled. The owner enables permitted actions and eligible teammates. Only fields supported by an enabled action can be proposed; some actions also support individual owner-selected writable fields.

Update draft post title or excerpt

Updates only owner-selected title/excerpt fields on an existing draft. Plain text replaces formatting in edited excerpts. Native permissions are required. WordPress has no atomic version/status lock: outside edits or publishing can race the final draft check. No publish, schedule, body, page, slug, creation or deletion action is offered. Every teammate proposal requires individual owner approval; uncertain requests never retry automatically.

The owner selects supported writable fields for this action before teammates can propose changes.

Every team member's change needs owner approval

  1. The owner sets access

Choose the connection, permitted actions and eligible teammates. Select individual writable fields where the action supports it.

  2. A teammate proposes a change

Choose an existing record and propose specific supported values. A proposal does not apply the change.

  3. The owner reviews the difference

Check the current and proposed values, then approve that individual change. Changed records or permissions require a fresh review.

  4. Datapipe records the result

View the result in the audit history. An uncertain write is not automatically retried.

Provider permissions and workflows still apply. Source automations or notifications may react to approved changes.

Connected assistants can read available reports. Source changes use the separate Actions & approvals workflow in Datapipe.

Reports you can build

2 reporting datasets with their own fields. Choose a dataset in the app, then select the columns you need.

See included datasets and what they report
  • WordPress posts

Current accessible content inventory; report dates do not filter creation or reconstruct historical state. Native text and missing values are retained. Incomplete pagination fails visibly. Includes publish, future, draft, pending and private posts accessible with edit context; trash, custom post types and analytics are excluded.

  • WordPress pages

Current accessible content inventory; report dates do not filter creation or reconstruct historical state. Native text and missing values are retained. Incomplete pagination fails visibly. Includes publish, future, draft, pending and private pages. Page writes are excluded.

Current inventory is separate from dated performance reporting. Only supported owner-selected draft text can be changed, with individual approval for every teammate proposal.

Metrics and dimensions

24 report fields across 2 datasets.

Browse the documented fields below. In the app, choose your project connection to load its field list. Availability depends on API permissions, report type, and compatible field combinations. Property-specific custom fields appear after connecting.

Send WordPress data anywhere

Ask AI about your data

Claude or ChatGPT can read the same numbers. You ask in a normal sentence, and the answer stays with your report.

Use an assistant to understand the reports. Propose source changes separately in Datapipe, where the owner reviews and approves every change.
