Google Analytics for agencies and in-house teams

Agencies and in-house teams use Google Analytics in Datapipe to see which channels and pages bring visits, engaged sessions, conversions, and revenue.

Start free

What connects

Google sign-in with the Analytics Data API scope analytics.readonly. The same consent lists GA4 properties. You pick one property when the report is created.

What you can report on

What you set up

  1. Sign in with Google and allow Analytics read access.
  2. Pick the GA4 property. The first property is used if you do not pick one.
  3. Create a report. It refreshes on the plan schedule.

Limitations

The live reports request only sessions, totalUsers, conversions, screenPageViews, date, sessionSource, and pagePath. The long field list on this page is what GA4 publishes, not what a refresh pulls. A public app past 100 test users needs Google's OAuth verification. Revenue and engaged sessions are not in the current pull.

Last reviewed 2026-10-29. Owner: Datapipe.

Connection

Live

Live with Google sign-in. An app in Testing mode works for up to 100 test users. Google's full public verification is a separate owner step.

This difference represents users from the cohort that were not active for the later date. cohortTotalUsers is commonly used in the metric expression cohortActiveUsers/cohortTotalUsers to compute a user retention fraction for the cohort. The relationship between activeUsers and totalUsers is not equivalent to the relationship between cohortActiveUsers and cohortTotalUsers.metric · numberAudience

FAQ

Is the Google Analytics connection live?

Live with Google sign-in. An app in Testing mode works for up to 100 test users. Google's full public verification is a separate owner step.

Do I have to talk to sales?

No. Create an account, connect the source, and the first report is on Home. Sample numbers stay available when a key is missing.

How often do the numbers refresh?

Free and Starter refresh daily. Pro refreshes hourly. Agency refreshes every 15 minutes on up to 50 accounts and hourly on the rest. We keep the history for you: 90 days on Free, and for as long as you subscribe on paid plans. No warehouse to set up.

Which fields are synced today?

The list marks Synced today on the fields the current connector pulls. The rest of the list is what the platform publishes, so you can see it before you sign up.
