Claude or ChatGPT can read the same numbers. You ask in a normal sentence, and the answer stays with your report.

Before you connect

What you need

An API key or token from your DataForSEO account.

Read-only

Read access only. Datapipe never changes anything in DataForSEO.

Limits and exclusions

Report dates do not reconstruct provider history.

Full details and limits

Read live Google organic SERPs, existing completed SERP and Google Ads search-volume tasks, finished OnPage crawl pages, and current backlink summaries directly from DataForSEO API v3. Market, device, snapshot time and native reporting units stay explicit. Report dates do not reconstruct provider history. Failed, partial or unfinished reads return errors; genuine empty results remain empty.

Requires your DataForSEO API login and API password. Save and check validates account access without starting paid research. Live SERP and backlink reads consume provider credits; completed task reads need an accessible task ID. No new crawl or source-content change is started.

Reports you can build

5 reporting datasets, each with its own fields. Pick one in the app, then choose your columns.

What each dataset reports
  • Google organic SERP results

Results use the provider’s snapshot time rather than the report date range. Read organic results, ranks and page titles from a completed Google organic Advanced SERP task. This does not start a new search.

  • Google Ads keyword search volume

Results use the provider’s snapshot time rather than the report date range. Read search volume, paid competition and USD CPC from a completed Google Ads keyword task. These are market estimates rather than your site’s traffic.

  • Completed on-page crawl pages

Results use the provider’s snapshot time rather than the report date range. Review HTML pages from a finished crawl, including response status, titles, links and time to interactive. This does not start a crawl.

  • Current backlink summary

Results use the provider’s snapshot time rather than the report date range. Check current backlinks and referring domains for a domain or page URL. DataForSEO access and usage charges apply.

  • Live Google organic SERP research

Run a fresh Google organic search for a keyword and market. DataForSEO charges its account for each live read; connecting alone does not run a search.

Metrics and dimensions

59 report fields across 5 datasets.

Start from a goal

How it works

  1. Select DataForSEO in your project’s Data sources.

  2. Pick where it goes. This one sends the numbers to ChatGPT.

  3. Pick where it goes: Google Sheets, a dashboard, or an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT via MCP.

Works well with DataForSEO

Add both to the same project. Each keeps its own report, so you can check them side by side or ask ChatGPT or Claude a question that needs both.

Questions

Free to start. Paid plans add more data sources and refresh faster.

Free and Starter refresh once a day. Pro refreshes every hour. Agency refreshes every 15 minutes on the first 50 data sources.

No. Name a project, add a data source, then choose a report and destination.

OAuth means you sign in with the service and grant access, without pasting an API key. Datapipe works with multiple partners to provide that sign-in. Some partners already provide it. Some integrations are API-only at present, so you paste a key or token. OAuth is coming soon for some. Some partners do not provide OAuth at all. The setup steps on each integration page say how that source connects. Signing in is only how the connection is made. It is not permission to change records. Where a source supports changes, those writes stay off until the workspace owner turns specific actions on and approves each one. We do not promise OAuth on every source, and we do not share dates.

One for each DataForSEO account you add to a project. Adding the same account to another project counts again. Reports and destinations do not use extra data sources.

Yes. The same numbers can go to a sheet, a chart, a warehouse, or an assistant.
