01

Find overdue follow-up tasks

Read the full prompt
Use only this Datapipe project’s authorized data sources. Discover the connected accounts, datasets, and fields first. If the right account or required data is missing, ask me rather than substituting sample data. Show the actual dates, filters, coverage, and any partial results.

Read this project’s current HubSpot CRM tasks. Using today’s date in our chosen review timezone, list unfinished tasks past their due timestamp. If the timezone is not established, ask me. Return task ID, subject, due date/time, and status. Do not infer that an overdue task means a deal is lost.
02

Prepare the daily review

Read the full prompt
Group those returned tasks into overdue and upcoming work. Use only fields present in the data and distinguish missing due dates from future due dates. Include the review time so the list is reproducible.
03

Turn the list into a team agenda

Read the full prompt
Draft a concise follow-up agenda based on the returned task subjects and due dates. Include unresolved account or ownership questions when fields are missing. Do not send messages, change CRM records, or invent prospect intent.

03 · USE WHAT YOU FIND

Give the team a clear follow-up list.

  1. 01

Read the CRM’s current task records.

  2. 02

Compare due timestamps with the review date and exclude completed tasks.

  3. 03

Use the list in your sales review or daily follow-up routine.

Check the result at your next review.

At the next review, recheck task status and due dates. Measure completion using actual CRM records rather than inferring that a prospect responded or a deal advanced.

Implementation tips for this use case

Review the list with the responsible team, resolve missing due dates or account questions, and carry out the follow-up in the appropriate workflow. This analysis sends no messages and changes no CRM records.

The method and reporting checks
behind this example.

How to find overdue CRM follow-ups
  1. Read current tasks from the correct CRM account.

Choose task subject, due timestamp, and status from the connected HubSpot dataset. Keep this task list separate from deal forecasting.

  2. Use a clear review date and timezone.

Exclude completed tasks and compare due timestamps with the chosen review time. A date near midnight can fall on a different local day.

  3. Share a focused daily follow-up list.

Sort the unfinished overdue tasks for the team’s review. Use the task evidence without inferring a prospect’s intent or automatically contacting anyone.

Data method, reporting checks & sources

Use current HubSpot CRM task subject, due timestamp, and status. Sample tasks are evaluated as of Nov 8, 2026 UTC. This is a current task list, not a historical pipeline reconstruction.

Overdue does not imply a lost deal, low intent, or a forecast. The report does not send emails or update tasks. CRM account permissions still apply.

  • Task status excludes completed work.
  • Due timestamps are compared in an explicit timezone.
  • No inferred deal likelihood or automatic outreach is presented as a result.
  • An authorized HubSpot account with CRM task access.
  • A chosen review timezone and a clear definition of unfinished work.

For blended reports, align dates, normalized URLs, and reporting grain. Query-level search rows must not duplicate page-level sessions. This is an illustrative workflow; live accounts and destinations need their own setup.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you start.

What if a task has no due date?

Keep it in a separate missing-date group. Do not silently treat it as overdue, completed, or scheduled in the future.

Does an overdue task mean the lead is unlikely to buy?

No. The report identifies unfinished work past its due timestamp. Deal intent and likelihood need evidence beyond a task’s date and status.
