The destination is the product
Starter and Growth each list one core destination. Looker Studio, Sheets, Excel, Power BI, or an AI chat.
Supermetrics prices the destination. You pick Looker Studio, Sheets, Excel, Power BI, or an AI chat, then add sources. Datapipe prices the data sources. Sheets and Drive are included, BigQuery arrives on Pro and Agency, and a source change still needs the owner.
Several destinations on one plan · BigQuery on Pro and Agency · Owner-approved writes
Supermetrics publishes one core destination per package, and campaign tools inside the AI chat. Datapipe publishes the destinations on the plan, and approval inside Datapipe.
Supermetrics is the long-standing way to get ad data into a spreadsheet or Looker Studio. Their current pricing also puts ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot on the core destination list, with campaign management from the chat.

Supermetrics figures are from supermetrics.com/pricing, checked 6 Nov 2026. "From" means add-ons change the total. Datapipe does not claim Supermetrics lacks campaign actions. Their page lists them.
Supermetrics is a direct answer when one person needs Google Ads in Looker Studio or in a chat that can also manage campaigns. Datapipe is a direct answer when several people share the project, the Sheet refreshes on the plan's schedule, and a write stays a proposal until the owner acts.

Questions before you start
The useful difference is the unit you pay for, and where a campaign change is approved.
Supermetrics pulls marketing data into a destination you choose. Their pricing page lists core destinations such as Looker Studio, Google Sheets, Excel, Power BI, and AI chats (ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot). Data warehouse destinations, including BigQuery and Snowflake, are on the Enterprise quote.
Their pricing page lists Campaign Management on Starter and Growth: create, launch, and manage ad campaigns from the AI chat. We do not know, from that page, whether a second person must approve the change. Datapipe's rule is specific: the workspace owner reviews the exact current and proposed values, and the MCP connector cannot apply a write by itself.
Supermetrics fits a person or small team that wants one destination, such as Looker Studio or Sheets, and may want to manage campaigns from the AI chat attached to that destination. Datapipe fits a workspace that should feed Sheets and, on Pro or Agency, BigQuery, with project roles and owner approval, without buying a separate destination license.
Supermetrics says the price depends on the destination, how many data sources you add, how many users, and how many accounts per source. Starter is listed from $55 a month ($44 billed yearly) for 1 core destination, 3 data sources, 1 user, and 3 accounts per source. Growth is from $222 a month ($177 billed yearly) for 6 data sources, 2 users, and 7 accounts per source. A 14-day trial does not require a card. Free includes 3 data sources and a daily refresh. Starter is $15 a month for 25. Pro is $49 for 100, with hourly refresh and your own BigQuery. Agency is $199 for 500, with a 15-minute refresh on up to 50 of them. Every plan includes unlimited projects.
